Dr. SANTOS H YU, MD

Dr. SANTOS H YU

Neurologist

Dr. Yu graduated from the Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines. He then completed his Neurology Residency training at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. After residency training Dr. Yu completed a year of Neurophysiology Fellowship at Henry Ford Medical Center in Michigan.

Dr. LINDA BROWN, MD

Dr. LINDA BROWN

Neurologist

Dr Brown graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now part of Drexel University), then completed a pediatric residency at University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Neurology residency was completed at the University of Miami, with board certification including special competency in child neurology. She completed an epilepsy fellowship at Rurch/Prebyterian St Luke’s Hospital in Chicago.

Marites Pilapil, APRN

Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Pilapil is a board certified nurse practitioner. She received her medical degree from the Cebu Institute of Medicine, finished her Family Medicine Training and is board certified in Family Medicine in the Philippines. She worked as a registered nurse in the ICU for more than 10 years before she attained her MSN-FNP degree.

Anna Monica Fermin, MD

Neurologist

Dr. Anna Monica Fermin obtained her medical degree from Ross University, followed by Neurology residency and Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She then completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship with additional training in Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring at Duke University. Dr. Fermin specializes in the management of Epilepsy, Sleep Disorders and Intraoperative Neurophysiological monitoring.

Sharon Jung, Psy.D

Psychologist

Dr. Jung received her doctorate in clinical psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at Henry Ford Hospital and her fellowship at Cambridge Health Alliance / Harvard Medical School in neuropsychology. Her experience includes conducting neuropsychological evaluations for adults with various neurological, medical, developmental, and psychiatric conditions.

Judith Yu, APRN

Nurse Practitioner/Administrator

Judith is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended Velez College of Nursing in Cebu City, Philippines where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, CA. Ms. Yu has worked as a trauma and surgical nurse for 15 years.

For the past 13 years to current she has been the Nurse Administrator for the Neurology Center of Nevada.

Eleanor Quizeo, APRN-CNP

Nurse Practitioner

Eleanor is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her medical training at the University of the Visayas-Gullas College of Medicine in Banilad, Mandau City, Cebu, Philippines where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Adventist University of the Philippines in Silang, Cavite, Philippines. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, CA. Ms. Quizeo has worked for 15 years as a registered nurse and has been on staff at the Neurology Center of Nevada for the past 4 years.

Dr. Steven Fan Zhang

Neurologist

Dr. Zhang obtained his undergraduate degree at Cornell University. He obtained his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University, where he was the recipient of a prestigious medical school merit tuition scholarship. He did his Neurology residency at Emory University and went on to complete a Movement Disorders fellowship at UC San Diego. Dr. Zhang is a board certified and fellowship trained Movement Disorders Neurologist. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of Parkinson’s Disease, atypical parkinsonism, tremors, dystonia, myoclonus, ataxia, chorea, and many other movement disorders. He is also expertly trained in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) programming and the administration of botulinum toxin (Botox) for migraine and dystonia.

Dr. Monica Chacon

Pediatric Neurologist

Dr. Chacon received her undergraduate degree at Columbia University. She obtained her medical degree from Yale University of Medicine. Following graduation from Yale she then did her residency in Pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, followed by a residency in Pediatric Neurology at Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Chacon completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston Texas. She is board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special Qualifications in Child Neurology.

Dr. Katharine Miller

Psychologist

Dr. Miller received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her residency with the Erie Psychological Consortium and her fellowship in neuropsychology at the New Mexico VA Healthcare System. Her clinical experience consists of therapeutic and neuropsychological evaluation services for adults.

Michelle Salcedo Fernandez

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Michelle Salcedo Fernandez completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner studies from Post University (Connecticut) in 2021. She was born and raised in the Philippines and finished two bachelors namely Medical Technology and Nursing. Michelle has over 14 years of clinical experience as a nurse prior to pursing her NP career. Her friends and family described her as “go getter” and very ambitious regardless of how loaded her plate is. She is a wife, a mom of 3 toddlers and worked two jobs while doing her NP program. Her determination and perseverance brought to where she is right now. Her areas of interest include family practice, chronic disease management, aesthetics and preventative medicine. Her holistic approach to patient care includes shared decision making and compassionate quality care. In the future, she wants to precepts students and join medical mission outside United States. Michelle is linguistic, she speaks fluent in tagalog, bisaya and pangalatok and enjoys caring with same dialect-speaking patients as their primary language. Michelle loves to travel around the world, road tripping, food discovering and beach-winding outside work.
